Transgender Support Group:

Meet on the 2nd Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

This is a support group for transgender individuals, families and allies of transgender individual's.  The meetings are set up and facilitated by transgender persons.  We offer a place to assist you in finding some answers.  A chance to be with others like you.  To help you locate yourself in the transgender spectrum.

You are not alone.  It is estimated that about 14 percent of the population is transgender and this number could be higher.

The crossdressing aspects alone have been around since recorded time.  Only recently has this issue attracted the attention of the professionals and warranted further studies.

This is not a choice.  This is a part of you and your persona, not a lifestyle choice.

Some Native American Tribes recognized that each person has both an outer gender and an inner gender.

This could be the same for both genders.  The person with both genders was considered to be gifted and often looked upon as a Shman.

Because of the confusion we feel, many have suffered mentally and physically.  Society has placed certain outer guidelines for us all to follow rather than allowing us to follow our inner self.

Only recently have we begun to take steps to correct this.  We deserve to be ourselves.  Have you heard the phrase "To Thy Own Self Be True"?  Be true to yourself and come visit us.
